About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at Franciscan Medical Group. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience from check-in to check-out.


Key Responsibilities
  • Register and check patients in/out, ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient information.
  • Handle and reconcile payments, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously monitor and reconcile issues prior to patient visit, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Process referral orders and pre-authorizations, coordinating appointments and ancillary services as needed.
  • Respond to patient questions regarding routine billing and insurance matters, providing clear and concise information.
  • Coordinate patient instructional/education activities, ensuring patients receive necessary information and support.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • One year of customer service work experience, with two years preferred.
  • Healthcare or call center experience is a plus.
