Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patient information and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and families in a professional and courteous manner, providing world-class customer service and adhering to Conifer Standards of Care.
  • Answer inbound and outbound phone calls, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process patient registration and demographic data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and eligibility.
  • Securely store and manage patient records and confidential information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or degree preferred.
  • 0-1 year of experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong typing skills (35 wpm minimum) and proficiency in PC/CRT/printer operations.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital operations preferred.
