Dental Assistant with Excellent Patient Care Skills

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Clear Lake Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our orthodontic specialists.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and working collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong commitment to delivering outstanding patient care. You will be responsible for preparing patients for treatment, assisting dentists during procedures, and maintaining a clean and sterile environment.
You will also have the opportunity to learn new skills, participate in ongoing training and development, and contribute to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures, administering local anesthesia, and positioning them correctly.
- Assisting Dentists: Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and providing support as needed.
- Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean and sterile environment by disinfecting equipment, disposing of waste, and restocking supplies.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or licensure as a dental assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
