We are seeking a highly skilled Research Administration Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of funding sources, including government and foundation grants, restricted gifts, fellowships, and startup packages. You will work closely with departmental counterparts at faculty members' home institutions to streamline effort, spending, and other financial planning.

You will serve as an adviser to Principal Investigators (PIs) and program management, helping them set up spending plans that maximize restricted fund spending. You will also liaison with funding agencies to ensure compliance with institutional and sponsor requirements.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pre-award and post-award financial management, with a strong understanding of research compliance issues, federal agency practices, regulations, and policies. You will also have proficiency in Excel and web-based tools, as well as experience working with internal and external audits.

The estimated salary range for this role is based on industry standards and takes into account factors such as location, experience, and qualifications. The compensation package includes a comprehensive benefits program, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan and generous time off.
