Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Grant Accountant to join our team at Phaxis - Financial Services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in creating weekly billing, preparing and maintaining claims for government and outside agencies, generating reports, assisting with journal entries and general ledger, as well as assisting with financial reports and statements.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting in the preparation of budgets and grant statements.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $65,000-$80,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Create weekly billing
  • Prepare and maintain claims for government and outside agencies
  • Generate reports
  • Assist with journal entries and general ledger
  • Assist with financial reports and statements
  • Assist in preparation of budgets and grant statements

Requirements:

  • Strong accounting skills and experience
  • Ability to create and manage claims
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
