As an Occupational Health Nurse with Americold Logistics, LLC., you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our associates and facilities. Key Responsibilities
• Provide support and guidance to facilities on occupational health-related matters
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as OSHA, CDC, and DOH
• Conduct audits and provide safety and health-related policy training
• Assist facility management in working with insurers and support the safety culture
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) with 3+ years in occupational health
• Current RN licensure and BLS certification
• Experience with worker's compensation and ability to be available 24/7 for triage calls
• 20-30% travel, mostly within the assigned region
Preferred Qualifications
• COAHC certification
• Solid understanding of OSHA and DOH/CDC programs
Work Environment
The work environment for this position requires the ability to sit for long periods, with frequent interruptions. The role also involves several hours of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, and reaching or bending. Manual dexterity is required for typical office work, and talking, hearing, and seeing are essential elements of completing assigned tasks. Travel by automobile and airplane may be required for business, and visits to warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing may also be necessary. The occasional lifting, carrying, positioning, and/or moving of objects weighing up to 20 pounds may be required. The use of various electronic tools is also necessary.
