Job Title: User Acceptance Tester

PEAK Technical Staffing USA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented User Acceptance Tester to join our team. As a User Acceptance Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the UAT process and product rollout into production.
  • Collaborate with data science counterparts and product management to design and implement scripts and plans for an application testing strategy.
  • Creates test plans, test cases, and scripts; conducts a limited variety of tests and analyses to ensure that systems meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
  • Execute test scripts according to application requirements documentation.
  • Retest software corrections to ensure problems are resolved.
  • Document evolution of testing cases/scripts for future replication.
  • Collaborate and maintain relationships with product owners, stakeholders, business analysts, development, and quality assurance teams.
  • Have direct accountability for the planning and execution of an application's UAT.
  • Lead the team on testing scope across applications as well as estimated completion dates.
  • Lead the team to continually improve internal processes, workflows, team collaboration, and results.
  • Facilitate providing test data requirements and enrich test cases to ensure alignment to business initiatives.
  • Collaborate in identifying risks as well as mitigations to defects or process deficiencies wherever possible to ensure release readiness.
  • Identify defects and work directly with the developer to resolve and validate fixes.
  • Provide daily operational support and facilitate defect triage for production environments.
  • Perform end-to-end testing to ensure appropriate functionality, product integrity, accuracy, and quality of all changes and enhancements.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot erroneous results, determine root cause, and suggest solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 2-5 years experience in Business Analysis or Systems Analysis.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Basic level experience in an IT testing role.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Software.
  • Effective listening skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong initiative.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • SQL Experience preferred but not mandatory.

This is a remote position. You can sit anywhere in the US, however, must be willing to work Eastern Time Zone daytime hours. Zero to minimal travel.
