We are seeking an experienced Private Wealth Relationship Manager to join our team at Bank of America

About the Job:
This role involves supporting the Financial Advisor team to further develop and enhance existing client relationships. As a Private Wealth Relationship Manager, you will provide specialized support as a Specialist/Manager in various roles, including Business Development, Wealth Planning, Investment Management, and Business Management. Over 50% of your time will be dedicated to relationship management activities, such as attending client meetings and discussing investment strategy, account performance, new products, and market developments. You will also engage portfolio managers and product specialists to support the coordination of sales and service activities and work with the Financial Advisor team to develop and implement a client service model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Management: Manage client accounts and relationships to achieve business objectives.
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Business Acumen: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor analysis to drive business growth.
  • Client Solutions Advisory: Collaborate with clients to identify their financial goals and create tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Portfolio Management: Assist clients in managing their investments and achieving their financial objectives.
  • Referral Identification: Identify potential referral opportunities and build relationships with referral sources.
  • Referral Management: Manage referrals from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and successful experience for both the client and the referral source.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Financial Advisors, Portfolio Managers, and Product Specialists.
  • Administrative Services: Provide administrative support to the Financial Advisor team, including tasks related to client onboarding, account maintenance, and data entry.
  • Client Investments Management: Assist clients in managing their investments and achieving their financial objectives.
  • Customer Service Management: Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve any client complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Process Simplification: Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with the Financial Advisor team to implement changes that enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Series 7, 63/65 or 66 or equivalent licenses.
  • All state registrations held by the Financial Advisor(s) and Advisor Team(s) they support.
  • Federal SAFE Act registry system registration and good standing record.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to lead through collaboration and influence without direct authority.
  • Detail-oriented organizational skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of Merrill's Wealth Management products and services.
