About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a clean, safe, and efficient environment for optimal patient care, adhering to aseptic surgical techniques.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials, supplies, and equipment for various surgical procedures.
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of surgeons, passing instruments and supplies as required.
  • Ensure the environmental disinfection, safety, and efficiency of the operating room.
  • Transport patients and equipment, and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of concentration.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull with 30 pounds of force.
