Job Overview

This innovative program, based in Chantilly VA, employs cutting-edge practices in system engineering through Digital Engineering methodologies and Agile software development, particularly via DevSecOps.

We are currently seeking a Master Scheduler to support our customer organization, which is responsible for providing comprehensive enterprise system integration, analysis, and systems engineering solutions. This role is crucial for shaping the future of integrated space systems by coordinating space and ground development efforts along with complex user and system interfaces.

The Scheduler will be tasked with consolidating schedules from various Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs) and ensuring alignment with other organizations to develop and maintain an enterprise-level Integrated Master Schedule across three major entities. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to devise an overarching strategy, plan, monitor, control, and successfully close out diverse projects. A strong grasp of schedule analytics, including Monte Carlo Analysis, anomaly detection, critical path analysis, resource loading, and reporting, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the Master Project file for the Systems Integrator
  • Collaborating with individual CFTs to gather and sustain their respective schedules
  • Integrating individual CFT schedules into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Engaging with multiple Offices and Organizations to identify and articulate needs
  • Preparing presentations for senior leadership
  • Executing schedule analytics such as Earned Value Management, Monte Carlo Analysis, anomaly detection, critical path analysis, resource loading, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proficiency in MS Project
  • Experience with MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)
  • Familiarity with SharePoint
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
  • Experience with Chantilly customers
  • Advanced degree in a STEM discipline
