Job Overview

Ultra Clean Technology Systems & Svc Inc is seeking a dedicated Material Handler II to contribute to our dynamic team. As a pivotal player in the semiconductor industry, you will engage in the precise and safe handling of materials both internally and externally. This role is essential in maintaining our commitment to quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute accurate transactions and manage the physical movement of materials in and out of the stockroom.
  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain cycle counts and uphold a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Accurately prepare all work orders.
  • Assist with the movement and transactions of work-in-progress materials.
  • Support shipping, receiving, and packaging operations as necessary.
  • Operate company vehicles and forklifts as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Attendance is a critical aspect of this role.
  • Certification for forklift operation and a valid driver's license may be required.
  • Adaptability to cross-train and transition fluidly between departments is vital for maintaining a competitive edge.
  • Proficiency in all level 1 tasks is expected within the initial onboarding period.
  • On-the-job training will be provided for many tasks.
  • Collaboration with Material Handler III for guidance in specialized functions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to perform the responsibilities of a Material Handler I.
  • Basic proficiency in Excel for data entry and file management.
  • Ability to create and manage locations within the ERP system.
  • Experience in processing and printing barcode labels.
  • Maintain data integrity in key performance indicators.
  • Ability to complete complex forms in the ERP system.
  • Utilize various tools to resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Implement problem-solving techniques to locate lost inventory.
  • Optimize inventory storage for efficiency.
  • Familiarity with carrier software and preparation of bills of lading.
  • Safe and effective use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and scales.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions, including twisting and bending.

Educational Background:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Forklift certification as necessary.
  • Valid driver's license as required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in material distribution environments, with a focus on computer and ERP systems.

Work Environment:

  • Work primarily takes place in a standard office setting.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 lbs independently.
  • Ability to lift heavier items with assistance.
  • Extended periods of sitting and computer use may be required.

Environmental Considerations:

  • Frequent interruptions may occur, and personal protective equipment may be necessary.
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels from office equipment is expected.
