Hotel Restaurant Host Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Hotel Restaurant Host to join our team at the Omni Mount Washington Resort. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist managers with opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning the dining area.
  • Answer phone calls and greet guests warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage heavy volume at the restaurant entrance, ensuring efficient seating and service.
  • Clean menus daily and maintain familiarity with the menu and daily specials.
  • Anticipate and attend to guests' needs, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
  • Introduce servers to guests and maintain a welcoming smile.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior host experience preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 10lbs.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
