Compensation Rate: $75-85 per hour

Overview:

The Data Center Services (DCS) team is responsible for ensuring that the data center's infrastructure is operational and efficient. Currently, the team has two facilities operational and is preparing to launch a third. The selected candidate will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the commissioning of all electrical and power distribution systems within the data center. Key responsibilities will include managing budgets, timelines, and project scopes to guarantee that the data center is functional and ready during the construction phase.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Conduct factory witness testing and site acceptance inspections.
  • Oversee pre-functional and functional performance testing.
  • Manage integrated systems testing.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning with a strong technical background.
  • At least 3 years of management experience leading large teams, including third-party commissioning agents.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering.
  • Familiarity with BIM 360 or similar project management software.
  • Willingness to work overtime and be present on-site.
  • Proven leadership skills to guide external contractors, electrical and mechanical engineers, and internal operational teams.
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and adapt commissioning schedules and resource allocations as needed.
  • Experience in large-scale or hyperscale data center environments.

Compensation Package:

Starting compensation is set at $85 per hour. Actual pay may vary based on individual skills, experience, and educational background.

Benefits will commence on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as options for HSA, FSA, and DCFSA accounts. Employees will also have access to a 401k retirement plan with employer matching. Paid sick leave and other forms of paid time off will be provided in accordance with applicable laws.
