Obsidian Solutions Group LLC (OSG) is in search of a dedicated Intelligence Analyst I to join our Technical Operations Group. The Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS) serves as the security and law enforcement division of the U.S. Department of State, excelling in international investigations, threat assessment, cybersecurity, counterterrorism, and the safeguarding of individuals, assets, and sensitive information. The primary goal is to ensure a secure environment for U.S. foreign policy operations. The Office of Security Technology (ST) plays a crucial role in supporting the DS mission through the implementation of suitable technical security measures.

The Countermeasures Program (CMP) and Security Technology Operations (STO) divisions are integral parts of ST. CMP is tasked with establishing global technical countermeasures policies for the Department, ensuring the protection of sensitive and classified data, and overseeing the overseas technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor intrusion detection systems at Diplomatic Facilities globally.
  • Generate timely intelligence assessments regarding international security matters.
  • Handle, manage, and disseminate classified information with utmost care.
  • Support a 24/7 crisis operations center.
  • Deliver complex and sensitive presentations to senior officials and executives within the Department of State and other governmental entities.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in intelligence or counterintelligence analysis, or relevant experience in security or computer science.
  • Military experience is advantageous.
  • Experience as a Marine Security Guard or in a watch operations center is preferred.
  • Familiarity with geospatial imagery and SPARTA software is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision in work output.
  • Must possess motivation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and maintain essential skill sets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and adaptable to new software as required.
