About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical components, equipment, and systems for aerospace and defense purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical equipment, components, and systems in accordance with customer requirements and military standards.
  • Prepare schematics, bills of materials, printed circuit boards, wiring harnesses, and assembly drawings to support design qualification and production build.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and departments to ensure overall system form, fit, function, and safety requirements are achieved.
  • Direct engineering personnel in the fabrication of test control apparatus and qualification/production test support equipment.
  • Develop and implement testing procedures to ensure products meet system requirements.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance to support production test procedures.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and manufacturing to support obsolescence issues and verification/validation of new sources.
  • Prepare and implement engineering change notices (ECNs) per configuration management standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university or an Electrical Engineering Technology degree with a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
