Position Overview:

The Electronics Engineering Aide is responsible for conducting operational assessments on intricate electronic components, subassemblies, and systems. This role requires a solid understanding of electrical principles, measurement techniques, and electronic circuit diagnostics. The Aide will engage in the calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of various electronic circuits and mechanical assemblies, as well as support rework activities on assemblies and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain a diverse range of standard and specialized testing equipment, including generators, oscilloscopes, and amplifiers, ensuring adherence to established protocols and specifications.
  • Review and interpret various technical documents such as test specifications and wiring diagrams, and recommend necessary modifications to testing procedures.
  • Analyze and validate test outcomes, performing troubleshooting and repairs to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Compile technical reports, summarizing findings and proposing solutions to identified technical challenges.
  • Act as a mentor and collaborative partner to fellow technicians.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of experience in Electronics Technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Technical Degree in Electrical Technology.
  • Completion of Military Electronic Schools or equivalent training.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance or willingness to undergo clearance screening.
  • Experience in the defense or aerospace industries.
  • 1+ years of experience in electronics within a manufacturing or military environment.
  • Familiarity with tuning RF circuits.
  • Proficient in setting up and operating Phase Network Analyzers (PNA) or Vector Network Analyzers (VNA).

Compensation: $23.18 per hour. Compensation may vary based on factors such as geographical location, job function, education, and experience.
