About the Role

Murphy-Hoffman Company, a leading Kenworth dealership group, is seeking an experienced Outside Parts Salesperson to join our team. In this critical role, you will develop and achieve maximum profitable sales volume of parts and labor services from assigned accounts in a designated territory.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience dealing with the public in sales/service capacity, and a proven track record in automotive parts sales. Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer operations to ascertain future parts, service, and truck requirements
  • Develop and achieve maximum sales volume consistent with realistic sales projections for assigned accounts focusing on parts and labor sales opportunities
  • Oversee operations of assigned customers, providing guidance on inventory selection and control, service availability, new products and services, etc.
  • Plan territory coverage, regularly calling upon key accounts (current and prospective)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One year of automotive parts-related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience dealing with the public in sales/service capacity
  • Computer skills preferred
