Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, ensuring follow-up as necessary.
  • Utilize a customer-centric, needs-based assessment approach to inform clients about various insurance options.
  • Generate leads, arrange meetings, identify client needs, and promote suitable products and services.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary with commission and bonus opportunities
  • Paid time off, including vacation and personal/sick days
  • Valuable industry experience
Qualifications
  • Preferred experience in sales (outside sales, inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Passionate about the role of insurance and financial products in helping individuals manage everyday risks, recover from unforeseen events, and achieve their aspirations
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in various computer applications, especially Windows
  • Ability to deliver presentations to prospective clients
  • Meet mutually established marketing objectives
  • Possess a current Property and Casualty license
  • Life and Health license (must be obtained)
  • Availability to work a remote schedule, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, if residing in designated states.

This position is with an independent contractor agent affiliated with State Farm, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must successfully complete any necessary licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents operate as independent contractors who hire their own staff. Employees of State Farm agents are not employees of State Farm.
