Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer III to join our team at KFI Engineers PC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the successful execution of projects, providing technical and engineering excellence, and delivering high-quality results to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Execution
    • Lead the development of engineering documents and equipment specifications to meet contracted scope of work and ensure application of thermodynamic principles.
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring timely and within-scope completion.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
    • Develop and maintain expertise in HVAC engineering, design, and load/energy modeling calculations.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
    • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and expectations.
    • Provide regular project updates and status reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Mechanical Professional Engineering license.
  • At least 7 years of engineering experience, with a strong background in HVAC engineering and design.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
