Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Mechanical Design Engineer. This role provides an excellent opportunity for potential candidates with minimum experience to start their careers in mechanical construction. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and mentorship, gaining valuable experience in project supervision, coordination, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the supervision and coordination of mechanical construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Engineer commercial and industrial projects, prepare reports and specifications, and provide a high level of technical leadership.
  • Plan, design, and engineer HVAC, air distribution, plumbing, and piping systems.
  • Perform calculations, equipment selection, equipment specification, system design, system layout, field investigation, and construction coordination.
  • Support project management with scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
  • Learn and apply mechanical construction methods, safety practices, and industry standards.
  • Effectively and personably be able to organize others supporting your efforts.
  • Handle multiple projects at one time while maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Utilize CAD/BIM software for project design and execution.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and quality control to ensure adherence to project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Willingness to pursue or have completed the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) Exam.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit is advantageous but not required; training available.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
