About the Role

The Healthcare Services Pharmacist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences and promoting the shift of the Walgreens pharmacy role from transactional to interpersonal. This includes connecting with patients by anticipating their needs and proactively offering services, supporting efforts on enhancing patient experience, and increasing awareness of healthcare services offered through Walgreens.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. They will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides clinical services to patients, such as immunizations or MTM interventions, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, company policies, and procedures.
  • Engages patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving patient issues in a timely manner, and answering questions to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Maintains current knowledge and required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations to provide such clinical services.


Estimated Salary Range: $45.55 - $70.40 per hour
