Process Engineer

Avery Dennison is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our Reflective Solutions business, focused on the traffic and safety industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing innovative processes, increasing operational and process efficiency, and executing on complex engineering projects.
To be successful, you will need a degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, have demonstrated consistent ability to successfully execute on complex engineering projects, and have a real passion for collaborative work in a team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support to site operations, including optimizing manufacturing processes, reducing production costs, and improving quality.
- Offer application support to customers, solving converting issues at customer locations.
- Solve process issues associated with process equipment and/or product performance.
- Support safety initiatives, programs, and daily requirements.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development teams during new product communications.
- Lead cost-out initiatives on specific products to lower costs while maintaining quality.
- Conduct process and equipment evaluations, developing operating parameters.
- Develop and maintain a network of reputable vendors/suppliers, driving facility-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work with R&D on the development, scale-up, and commercialization of new products and technology platforms.
- Maintain process condition databases for constructions produced on assigned production lines.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering.
- Strong quantitative, analytical capability, statistical analysis skills, and data-driven approach.
- Minimum of 4 or more years of related Process Engineering work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of applicable computer software and systems, such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and function-specific software.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and advanced troubleshooting abilities.
- Six Sigma certification is preferred.
- PE certification is a plus.
- Electroforming experience is a plus.
