Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with domain experts to design and implement measurement models in software.
  • Develop and prototype measurement models based on data analysis, identifying opportunities to employ new methodologies in measurement and curriculum development.
  • Deploy leading-edge measurement and statistical techniques to support effective and differentiated instruction.
  • Advise on the design of research projects, including classical and IRT item analyses, equating studies, validity and efficacy studies, sampling plans, and special statistical analyses.
  • Provide technical leadership in deploying robust psychometric data models and analytics techniques as new requirements and architectures evolve.
Requirements:
  • Doctorate in Mathematics, Statistics, Education - Quantitative Methods, or a related quantitative field of study.
  • Two (2) years of experience with applying statistics and psychometrics concepts, including classical test theory, item response theory, structural equation modeling, and mixed-effects modeling.
  • Experience with applying AI and machine learning to measurement in education, educational data mining, and scientific programming environments (R, Python, Stata, and/or MATLAB scripting).
