Project Manager

This is a full-time on-site position in Columbia, SC, working as a Project Manager for a direct client. The project is expected to last up to 12 months with the option of extension.
Key Responsibilities- Develop business requirements and build a project plan to execute on that plan.
- Manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and activities with high quality.
- Report on project status and strategies orally and in writing.
- Interact with staff, team members, management, and external organizations to compile and manage project information.
- Experience working with SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project, Word, Access, and Excel.
- Ability to create and document key project management documents and artifacts.
- Superb communication skills, including written and oral presentations.
- Experience in Medicaid or other healthcare claims system IT projects is preferred.
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
- Experience with risk management, including risk triggers and managing risks to project plan tasks.
- Rate Card Class: Enterprise Project Manager - Consultant - Enterprise Project Manager - Consultant.
- Level: Consultant.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Yes, Advanced within 6 months, 2-4 years.
- Program Management Experience: Yes, Expert within 6 months, 2-4 years.
- Experience with Project Management of Large Enterprise Level Projects: Yes, Expert within 6 months, 4-6 years.
- Project planning experience: Yes, Expert currently using, 1-2 years.
