Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team at Esri, the global leader in geospatial science and GIS. As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences for our federal government clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute account management and sales strategies to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and industry partners.
- Utilize industry knowledge and technical expertise to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and services that meet customer needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive business growth and customer success.
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, consulting, or program management, with a focus on the federal government or public sector.
- 3+ years of experience working in or supporting the federal government/public sector.
- Proven track record of creating partnerships and establishing trusted advisor relationships with customers.
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems, new technology trends, and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
- Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an agency.
- Ability to travel domestically 25-50%.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, GIS, environmental/earth, social and/or health science, or a related field.
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and environmental and earth sciences as they relate to one another.
- Understanding of environmental, earth, and health sciences.
- General knowledge of data science or spatial analysis and how it is used for problem solving and uncovering patterns and trends within organizations.
- Knowledge of public sector fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
- Master's degree in business administration, GIS, environmental/earth, social and/or health science, or a related field.
