Job Title: Senior Claims Specialist - Commercial Construction Defect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Specialist to join our team in the Commercial Construction Defect specialty claims area. As a member of our experienced Claims Adjuster team, you will investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex liability claims with minimal direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and evaluate complex liability claims in one or more of Gallagher Bassett's specialty claims areas.
  • Resolve claims with minimal direct supervision, engaging analytical skills to make decisions and bring claims to resolution.
  • Partner with clients to deliver the right resources, at the right time and in the right place.
  • Use outstanding analytical and reporting tools to identify and deliver the right resources.
  • Think critically, solve problems, plan and prioritize activities, serve clients, effectively communicate, and embrace new challenges to drive success.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years related claims experience required working within the applicable specialty claims area or demonstrated ability to handle unique/challenging claims issues.
  • Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
  • Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
  • Computer experience with related claims and business software.
