Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist Lead to join our team at Texas Orthopedic Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our radiology services, ensuring that all exams are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate work schedules with the Departmental Director and/or scheduling desk to ensure workload coverage.
  • Act as interim manager in the absence of the Clinical Manager and/or Director.
  • Perform a variety of tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated body portions.
  • Adjust equipment for proper radiographic exposure techniques in accordance with radiation safety guidelines.
  • Be responsible for proper use of Radiology Information Systems and understand and use CR/PACS systems.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiography program or equivalent is required.
  • MRT in the State of Texas is required.
  • ARRT is required.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
  • One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.
