Certified Respiratory Care Specialist

The respiratory therapist is expected to embrace and implement the mission and standards of conduct of the healthcare facility. This role involves executing fundamental competencies during the orientation phase and delivering effective respiratory therapy with minimal oversight. Key responsibilities include:
· Administration of mechanical ventilation
· Delivery of medicated aerosols
· Conducting airway clearance techniques
· Monitoring patient conditions
· Providing oxygen and humidity treatments
· Performing specialized procedures (including CPR, use of specialty gases, bronchoscopy, and patient transport)
General Requirements for All Positions
- Undertakes additional tasks as required.
- Adheres to all organizational policies and standards.

- Must comply with all regulations to securely manage Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients. Annual training, along with the Code of Conduct and relevant policies, is mandatory to ensure appropriate handling of PHI in the workplace.
Educational Background:
Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
Required Credentials, Licenses, and Certifications:
· Registered Respiratory Therapist certification.
· Valid license to practice respiratory therapy in the state.
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of one year of recent clinical experience is preferred. Previous experience in a hospital setting is also advantageous. The work schedule consists of hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays.
Incentives:
Employees hired for 35 hours or more will receive a sign-on bonus of $10,000: $3,000 payable after 90 days of employment, and $7,000 after one year, contingent on performance.
