Position Overview: Respiratory Therapist

The Respiratory Therapist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional respiratory care services within a healthcare environment. The primary duties include:

  • Administering mechanical ventilation support
  • Delivering medicated aerosol treatments
  • Implementing airway clearance techniques
  • Monitoring and assessing patient respiratory conditions
  • Providing oxygen therapy and humidity treatments
  • Executing specialized procedures such as CPR and bronchoscopy

Qualifications Required:

Educational Background: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy

Licensure: Registered Respiratory Therapist, authorized to practice in Ohio

Professional Experience: At least one year of recent experience in a clinical setting is preferred

Work Schedule: This is a full-time role that includes rotating weekends and holidays

Employee Benefits: Staff members working 35 hours or more are eligible for a sign-on bonus

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 50 lbs
  • Constant engagement in repetitive motions and coordination of eye/hand/foot
