Care Giver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Giver to join our team at LakeHouse Lake Mills. As a Care Giver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Care: Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while promoting their independence and dignity.
• Housekeeping and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
• Companionship and Socialization: Engage residents in activities that promote socialization, mental stimulation, and emotional well-being, such as games, exercises, and conversations.
• Medication Administration: Assist with the administration of medications, as directed by the resident's care plan.

Requirements:

• Certifications and Education: Certified Nurse's Aid (CNA) certification or equivalent, high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Experience and Skills: Previous experience working with seniors, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical and Mental Demands: Ability to lift, bend, and move residents with assistance, as needed, and maintain a high level of energy and focus throughout the workday.
