Job Summary

Anderson Columbia Co. Inc. is seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Common/Utility Laborers. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to paving and road building, including spreading, rolling, tamping, and patching asphalt or similar materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manual labor tasks related to paving and road building, including spreading, rolling, tamping, and patching asphalt or similar materials.
  • Operate heavy equipment, such as rollers and tampers, to ensure smooth and even surfaces.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment and tools.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Florida driver's license or ability to obtain within 3 months.
  • Dependable transportation to work.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug test.

  • Competitive pay scale ($12-$14 for Common Laborers, $12-$15 for Utility Laborers, DOE).
