About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Houston Methodist West Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of providing world-class healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and education to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and diagnose patients' conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet patients' needs
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Minimum of 12 months of experience as a registered nurse in a healthcare environment
  • Texas RN license or temporary TX RN license, with the ability to obtain permanent licensure within 90 days
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Other credentials and certifications as defined by the unit/service line
