We are seeking a highly skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Ironman Staffing Medical Services, Inc. in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our medical staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- See patients in the oncology services office and hospital for selected laboratory testing, examination, diagnosis, and treatment of both chronic and acute episodic symptoms.
- Makes rounds in selected hospital systems
- Reports to Covering physician for patient necessities in the hospital setting.
- Refers to physician/specialist as needed.
- Writes prescriptions and performs office procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols, and available equipment.
- Triage patient telephone calls and provides consultation
- License to practice nursing in the State of Texas
- Nurse Practitioner: Masters of Science – Nursing
- Successful completion of an approved Acute Care nurse practitioner program.
- Acute Care certification required
- Minimum two years of clinical nursing plus two years of nurse practitioner experience.
- Acute Care experience required
- Licensed ANP or FNP.
- Competitive salary up to $135,000.00 per year
