Job Title: Sanitation Coordinator

At Kraft Heinz Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sanitation Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and safety in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily huddles to ensure effective communication and coordination among team members.
  • Fill in as needed for call-ins, vacations, and other absences to maintain continuity and ensure seamless operations.
  • Review recaps and summaries from previous shifts to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform startup, shutdown, and pre-operational inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and modify daily schedules to manage LOA and absenteeism, ensuring adequate staffing and minimizing disruptions.
  • Complete weekly crewing to ensure effective team management and resource allocation.
  • Complete all assigned PM (Maintenance and sanitation) tasks to maintain equipment and facilities in good working condition.
  • Understand and implement the discipline policy, issuing discipline as necessary to maintain a safe and respectful work environment.
  • Responsible for wearing proper PPE, complying with all safety training, policies, and procedures, and reporting any unsafe safety conditions to a Supervisor/Management.
  • Effectively communicate verbally and in written format to ensure clear understanding and cooperation among team members.
  • Promote open communication within the team and to leadership, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration.
  • Assist leadership with employee development through recognition, performance reviews/feedback, coaching, training, and corrective action.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance team to monitor all equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Perform daily titrations and ensure chemicals are at the correct concentration to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Monitor daily Behavioral Observations of Safety completion and conduct risk assessments with the team when necessary.
  • Foster a safe working environment, immediately communicating and addressing safety concerns with the entire team, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Candidates must be available to work the third shift, including Sundays, holidays, and plant shutdowns.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Sanitation experience: 2 years is preferred.
