Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate appointment schedules, communicating changes to staff and physicians as needed.
  • Coordinate the check-in process, verifying patient information and obtaining necessary signatures.
  • Answer telephone calls, providing excellent customer service and referring callers to appropriate personnel.
  • Execute pre-authorizations for diagnostic tests and procedures, tracking referrals and maintaining electronic medical records.
  • Perform daily activities, including message retrieval, filing, and cash handling.
Requirements
  • High School degree or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of administrative healthcare experience or 2 years of administrative office experience required.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
