Job Summary

Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Administer contrast media as required to enhance image quality.
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and provide emotional support as needed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Diagnostic Imaging setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
