About the Role

Milwaukee Valve Company is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team in Prairie Du Sac, WI. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, general editors, or manual entry of code on a controller.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create CNC programs for various machine types, styles, and controllers
  • Perform program compare, maintain documents, conduct tool tests, and recommend tools and fixtures
  • At times, perform machine setup and program prove out, including measuring and inspecting machined parts
  • Instruction of properly performing machine setup tasks
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or Technical school or Minimum 1 year related experience and/or training
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels with proper etiquette
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety policies and rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or Technical school
  • Minimum 1 year related experience and/or training
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding, thoroughly carry out instructions given in oral, written or diagram form, and ability to deal effectively with routine problems and situations
