We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at Michael Page. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our electronic and defense manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a liaison and technical advisor to purchasing, production, and test departments.
  • Conduct failure analysis for non-conforming materials.
  • Review data to initiate process improvements.
  • Prepare and validate FAI reports per AS9102.
  • Evaluate supplier quality throughout the program life cycle.
  • Monitor supplier performance to maintain AVL with purchasing.
  • Ensure supplier understanding of purchase order quality notes and develop product acceptance plans.
  • Inspect incoming materials using critical tests to verify quality.
  • Conduct quality audits with suppliers to resolve product issues.
  • Report monthly on performance and concerns.
  • Perform internal audits and report findings.
  • Support TQM initiatives in daily tasks.
  • Develop procedures aligned with quality system requirements.
  • Follow safety guidelines for self and others per OSHA and company standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in contract manufacturing. Experience with electronic or defense manufacturing, ISO9001/AS9100/ITAR is a plus. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of complex electrical assemblies is required. Proficiency in MS Office is also necessary. The successful candidate must be local to Lowell, MA.
