SinnovaTek is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products. As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining quality checks on raw materials and finished goods, micro plating, sensory testing, batch approval, regulatory paperwork, and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality inspection functions for finished products to ensure product quality and package integrity meet specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of all testing performed, including quality checks, batch approvals, and regulatory paperwork.
  • Monitor quality checks made by production teams to ensure compliance with GMP standards.
  • Inspect incoming ingredients as needed to ensure quality and integrity.
  • Maintain Q.A. equipment and area cleanliness to ensure compliance with all GMP standards.
  • Ensure all parameters of food safety and quality are being adhered to and maintained throughout the facility.
  • Assist with batching chemicals/ingredients for production, and collect in-process and finished product samples.
  • Create and maintain complete, accurate records of all testing performed, including GMP, HACCP, and SOP compliance.
  • Uphold SQF requirements, promote a strong and positive food safety culture, and participate in interdisciplinary teams to implement and maintain food safety initiatives.
  • Steward the company's B-corp mission to promote worldwide health and wellness through the delivery of high-quality, healthy foods using sustainable methods.

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of current OSHA and Safety Standards.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well in teams.
  • Positive attitude in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Punctuality, on-site presence, and readiness for work at scheduled hours.

Education and Experience:

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance in a production environment, with previous experience in food manufacturing preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for 8-hour shifts.
  • Perform repetitive or continuous behavior, including lifting up to 30 pounds.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, crouching, or twisting.
  • Work in various adverse conditions, such as tight or enclosed spaces, heights, and temperature extremes.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday-Thursday: 6:00am-4:30pm or 8:00pm-6:30am.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience, to support your career growth and well-being.
