About the Role

The Technical Advisor to the Head of Security will play a pivotal role in driving OpenAI's security programs forward. This position demands a unique blend of executive management skills, technical knowledge, and operational expertise.

As a trusted advisor to the Head of Security, you will be responsible for developing, refining, and implementing key security strategies that align with OpenAI's overall mission and executive priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Head of Security to develop and implement strategic security initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of Security, providing insights and recommendations on security-related matters.
  • Oversee the execution of critical security projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate collaboration across departments to embed security considerations into all aspects of OpenAI's operations.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of security principles, best practices, and emerging trends in AI and security.
  • Prior experience in security leadership and program management.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
