About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Specialist to join our team at ArcelorMittal. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing capital projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned capital projects, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve completion according to planned expectations.
  • Develop project budgets and schedules, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Coordinate with third-party companies to support project implementation, adhering to company rules and regulations.
  • Provide regular updates to internal customers, ensuring transparency and open communication.
  • Ensure project success through commissioning and manufacturing integration, receiving as-built drawings and operating manuals.
  • Manage multiple contractors and contracts, ensuring project and contractor safety compliance.
  • Support reporting of projects to management, providing accurate and timely information.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience managing and coordinating contractors to ensure timely completion of jobs.
  • Experience with project and process documentation, including financial, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.
  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills, written and verbal, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong work ethic and professionalism, with commitment to company values of Safety, Teamwork, Accountability, Relationships, and Sustainability.
