Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Facilities Technician I to join our team at our Westbrook, Maine location in the ID Rapid Diagnostics Division. As a Facilities Technician I, you will be responsible for the reliable operation of our buildings, facilities, machinery, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair facilities equipment, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and repair and installation.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot faults, and undertake repairs.
- Respond to alarm or trouble calls as required as a primary or secondary responder.
- Assist in packing, moving, and reconfiguring the facility, including office and manufacturing areas.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior Carpentry experience is a plus
- Prior experience in a facilities role also a plus
- Troubleshooting experience
- Ability to prioritize problems and projects effectively ensuring that operation, appearance, and upkeep of the facility are maintained at a high standard
