About the Role

We seek talented engineers who are passionate about devising sophisticated solutions to complex challenges in the fields of autonomy and mobility. Mechanical Simulation Software Engineers will engage with our diverse product suite, addressing a range of full-stack, infrastructure, dynamics, and graphics issues. At Applied Intuition, we promote a culture where engineers take initiative in technical and product decisions, collaborate closely with users for feedback, and contribute to a vibrant team environment.
In this role, you will:
  • Collaborate with technical experts to implement modifications to physics, parameters, or simulation outputs
  • Conduct and analyze regression tests to evaluate the impact of changes
  • Refine and enhance code for sustainable maintainability and performance gains
  • Identify and troubleshoot code that fails to yield expected results
  • Document design modifications, post-mortems, and release notes
  • Work alongside team members to share knowledge and collaborate on the intricacies of VehicleSim Math Models
We are looking for candidates who possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of experience, or 7 years of equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in programming with C/C++
  • Understanding of Algorithm Analysis and Design Patterns
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with vehicle systems (such as powertrain, suspension, steering, brakes, chassis controls, etc.)
  • Experience in Windows and Linux development
  • Background in working with SVN, Python, and/or Lisp
