Medical Assistant or LPN Lead Clinic Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant or LPN to lead our clinic team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting the clinical staff in delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for exams by obtaining vital signs and gathering relevant health information.
- Monitor and complete clinical integration and quality improvement measures, notifying clinicians of opportunities within their scope.
- Perform laboratory procedures, including strep tests, wound cultures, and specimen collection, using aseptic technique and standard precautions.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice clinicians with procedures, such as pelvic exams and allergy scratch testing.
- Administer routine medications, under physician or APC orders, including immunizations, antibiotics, and topical agents.
- Follow through with necessary procedure or test requests, pre-approved care algorithms, new appointment times, and referrals to other facilities or services.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians to ensure smooth clinic flow and adjust as necessary.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers, issued by the American Heart Association.
- Active license issued by the state in which you practice.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including keyboarding, navigation within a windows operating system, and use of electronic mail with exposure to electronic medical records systems.
This role requires sitting, standing, walking, lifting, squatting, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, climbing, and reaching above shoulders throughout the workday. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs from the floor to waist, lift up to 20 lbs over the head, and carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance. You will be exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical, blood, and body fluids hazards on a frequent basis and will be required to wear protective clothing and equipment as needed.
