Key Responsibilities
  • Perform medically prescribed radiographic procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring efficient workflow and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, performing routine quality control checks and reporting any malfunctions.
  • Assist in the completion of special projects, reports, and activities, as assigned by management.
  • Develop and maintain cooperative and professional relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies, techniques, and best practices, ensuring continued professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • New York State license or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • College graduate.
