POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is primarily focused on the preparation and cooking of a diverse range of meals for residents, staff, and guests, while ensuring exceptional service quality. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and proper use of kitchen equipment, appliances, and workspaces.
COMPENSATION:
The initial pay rate is set at $17.03, contingent upon prior experience and qualifications.

WORK SCHEDULE:
- 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with alternating Saturdays (a weekday off will be provided when scheduled to work Saturday).
- 80 hours per pay period.

Requirements:
As a condition of employment, all staff members must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Candidates selected for a job offer will need to provide proof of vaccination or receive the necessary vaccinations prior to their start date.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Preferred: At least one year of experience in an institutional food service setting.
- Familiarity with HACCP and OSHA standards (additional training may be provided).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 35 pounds.
- Detail-oriented with basic math skills.
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding basic English.
- Ability to act independently in routine and emergency situations.
- Self-motivated with effective time management skills.
- Ability to interact positively and professionally with residents, families, and the public.
- Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required.
- Fluency in a second language is advantageous.
