Residential Escrow Coordinator

Position Summary:
A Residential Escrow Coordinator plays a vital role in assisting one or more residential escrow officers with the management of files, processing, recording, and funding transactions, while also providing exceptional customer service.
This position is essential to the escrow team, contributing to the organization of the desk, maintaining communication with clients, and engaging in industry-related events and committees.
Key Responsibilities:
o Respond to phone inquiries, emails, and welcome clients, focusing on nurturing customer relationships.
o Initiate orders, set up initial files, and communicate with all parties to ensure clarity and effective communication.
o Organize the file system and manage calendars for the escrow team.
o Oversee the deposit and distribution of funds, including fund transmittal and wire verification.
o Ensure the smooth flow of the escrow process by executing tasks promptly as they arise.
o Manage loan packages and address lender requests, including the creation of CPL and fund balancing.
o Provide support to the escrow officer throughout the transaction stages.
o Facilitate curative actions by ordering assessments and payoffs.
o Accurately fund files at closing when necessary and distribute all funds in compliance with escrow instructions and regulations.
o Collaborate effectively as part of a team, demonstrating respect and professionalism in interactions with others.
o Engage in cross-training to enhance skills and provide assistance as needed.
o Adhere to all compliance regulations established by the Company, as well as industry, state, federal, and local authorities.
o Act as a liaison among all parties involved in the transaction when required.
o Coordinate with the title department to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of commitments.
o Participate in regular meetings for the escrow department and branch.
o Record legal documents in the appropriate jurisdictions.
o Assist in organizing closings, whether in-person, electronic, or via mobile notaries.
o Maintain required escrow training in accordance with Company standards.
o Actively support and uphold the Company’s core values.
o Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the leadership team.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
o Participation in assigned committees
o Proficiency in Office applications and Company-required software
o Current notary certification
o Ability to multitask
o Capability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
