KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist owners and guests with luggage and provide room orientation.
  • Deliver requested amenities to enhance guest experience.
  • Facilitate transportation arrangements to various resort locations.
  • Offer directions to the resort and nearby attractions.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the lobby area.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of three years of relevant hospitality experience, preferably in a Guest Services or Bellman role.
  • Experience in a Resort Front Office setting, with a background in customer service, is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledgeable about resort amenities and activities.
  • Familiarity with local attractions and events in the Orlando area.
  • Basic understanding of current Property Management Systems (PMS).
  • Ability to check in and out guests using the PMS.
  • Capability to review and discuss owner records.
  • Proficient in key-making processes.
  • Some familiarity with Asgard and Salesforce systems.
  • Ability to make reservations through approved vendors.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is preferred.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with owners, guests, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with guests and owners.
  • Ability to create a welcoming and service-oriented environment.
  • Capability to recognize owners and assigned guests by name.
  • Ability to handle adverse situations to guest satisfaction, reflecting STAY REAL behaviors.
  • Skill in resolving issues with minimal management involvement.
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback from guests.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Employees may need to bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and operate hand tools, which may include industrial machinery. The ability to lift between thirty to fifty pounds is necessary. Work assignments may change without notice, and reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Most work will be conducted in a non-climate-controlled environment, with exposure to severe weather conditions and varying temperatures. Employees may encounter industrial chemicals, cleaning agents, strong odors, and high noise levels.

SCHEDULE:

Work schedules will vary based on business needs and may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility to work outside of standard operating hours is required.
