Job Overview

The Filler Production Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring safe operations while adhering to the standards set by Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP). This involves identifying potential food safety risks and complying with various regulatory requirements.

Core Responsibilities

  • Verify that label adjustments on machinery are accurate.
  • Ensure the correct cap color and date code are applied to containers.
  • Perform flushing of fillers.
  • Collect samples and conduct tests in the Quality Control Department.
  • Complete daily reporting tasks.
  • For the second shift, responsibilities include sanitation duties, manual cleaning, and handling of hoses, including working with cleaning agents.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Maintain physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and frequent stair climbing.
  • Utilize hand tools and engage in repetitive tasks.
  • Remain on feet throughout the work shift.
  • Work schedule typically consists of 4-5 days per week.
