ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a bank teller is mandatory.

Capable of operating various office equipment (e.g., currency counter, combination lock, check encoder, fax machine, passbook validator).

High School Diploma or equivalent, along with at least one year of cash handling experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Identify, cultivate, expand, and manage consumer and business account relationships, focusing on fulfilling customer needs for financial products.
Recognize customers with additional profit potential and devise action plans to enhance these relationships. Refer business to all partners.
Address customer inquiries and concerns; direct to appropriate internal resources for resolution.
Exhibit integrity, adaptability, and commitment to work while maintaining a positive performance in all situations.
Engage in continuous training and development.
Cross-train to perform essential duties to assist customers in the absence of management.
Support daily branch operations, including reporting, audits, ATMs, coin machines, and the main cash vault. Prepare cash for shipments and order cash/coin for the branch as necessary.
Assist in monthly branch audits, including teller cash audits, vault cash audits, ATM audits, and Teller Recycling Machines audits.
Oversee daily operations of the teller area.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of all bank systems necessary for executing teller transactions and platform duties, including the use of a PC and calculator as required for efficient job performance.
Process a variety of routine and complex transactions, including but not limited to account openings and closings, processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers.
This position requires flexibility and a willingness to travel to other locations/branches within your region and adapt to schedule changes during the workday, including evenings and weekends.
Demonstrate knowledge of policies and procedures and the ability to apply this knowledge in real-world situations.Stay informed about current fraud alerts; identify fraudulent activities to prevent potential losses.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new products and services.
Participate in weekly branch meetings.
Complete daily ATM proof and end-of-day closing procedures.
Engage in weekly Operations calls.
Coordinate specific work tasks with other personnel within the branch office and with other Bank departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
Adhere to current laws and organizational policies and procedures. Foster an environment free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.Cooperate with, participate in, and support adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices.
